Airplanes

hey dudes :)

As you know, I'll be flying off later today! Haha, thinking of aeroplanes made me think of the song 'Airplanes' by B.O.B. Awesome song, by the way. 8 more hours before I go to the airport...TIME, PLEASE HURRY UP! Anyways, I still have one more thing to buy: a bag. A carry-on bag. I don't want to use my school bag because it is quite old already (3 years!) and I don't feel like using my crumpler because sling-bags really hurt my shoulder...so yup, I am going out later to buy a bag and pack the remaining stuff!

So, the entire morning of today was spent packing the rest of the things that were bought over the weekend. Ugh, I think I am bringing too many things...I don't think I'll be able to pack everything back at the end of the trip. I should have used a bigger luggage...but we don't have one and I don't want my parents to waste anymore money buying things for the trip. They've already spent quite alot. Here are some pictures of the stuff that were bought over the weekend :)

the usual girl stuff XD

just know that my parents are paranoid -.-

FOOD FOOD FOOD!

The things on the second picture were all bought from Daiso-very cheap! And I like how furry the socks are! I am going to wear those socks to sleep :) I bought that beanie in case my head ever feels cold. Hey, I have short hair. I don't have the protection of long and thick hair from the cold. Here's the pattern up-close:

I have no idea why it is upside-down...I think I took the photo the wrong way with my mum's iPhone camera...Haha, I didn't choose this cap because it looked badass. I chose it because it was the plainest cap on the rack. All the other caps had weird hearts and flowers and whatnot on it. Plus, I couldn't find any plain black ones. Anyways, I'll still look cool ;)

Ohoh, I painted my nails green! I have been waiting to paint my nails since forever! Actually, I have 2 other colours besides green-black and pink. Sadly, both of them finished :( So, I was stuck with the green... Never mind, any colour looks nice on my fingers because I am just that awesome! LOL.

I have decided to put the lip balm and moisturizer in my carry-on bag. I have really dry skin and lips. Which I think will become worse due to the dry air in the airplane. Ugh, I'll need to put on LOADS before I even set off.

Yup. That's about it for today. This is my very last post before I set off! I don't think I'll post again until I have returned on the 8th of June....even then, I'll probably sleep off the jet lag before I post. I don't want to be anywhere near electronics when I am overseas. I just want to enjoy the trip without thinking of the next fb /twitter status update. And also thinking "I am totally posting this on Facebook!" everytime I take a picture. The only electronic gadget I am willing to be near to is my phone and I am only going to use it at night to call my mum...and for listening to music :P What? I can't go to sleep without music.

To end off this post, pictures of my messy bed. This is actually kind of neat compared to yesterday when all the things were strewn around the room. I placed everything that I was going to pack on the bed, which made the room look slightly neater...Don't you think my bedspread is so cute? ;)

Ahhhh, I can't wait to get to Europe! Adios, everyone! To all, Singaporean students, have an awesome holiday! Okay, maybe you're not going overseas like me, but try to make the most out of it! I still have holiday training once I come back T.T

But let's focus on the good things in life...I AM FREAKING GOING TO EUROPE UDUBEFUFEBUEBVUBDUB

DUM DUM DE DUM DUM DUM

Hello world!

ICAN'TWAITFORLATER!! Seriously, it'll be my first time going to Europe and I am quite excited for it! The only other time I've been out of Asia was when my family went to America to visit a family friend back when I was three years old. I barely remember anything besides the beach -.-

I have completed most of my shopping already. All I have to do is pack in everything. Haish...judging by how much more things I need to bring, I think I might need a bigger luggage...

It's already past midnight, so I might need to make this post short. I will post up some pictures of the stuff I bought later during the day. Sorry, I was tired today after the Milo Cup game. It was earlier in the afternoon at 1.45pm. It was at SBC, which was all the way over at Geylang -.- And our coach wanted to meet us one hour earlier before the game, so I had to leave the house quite early because I live in the west and Geylang is east-ish.

I thought we played well today. Except in the last 2 quarters when we kind of screwed up. Not that bad actually but we had alot of intercepts that we could have prevented :( When I played today, I realised I didn't feel as tired as I did whenever I played matches. Is that a good thing? I mean, it may be because my stamina improved or just because I wasn't pushing myself enough for today's game. I really think I could have played better...and I am flying off later today, so I won't be able to play anymore games as the rest of the Milo Cup games are during the period when I'll be gone.

Ugh, I hope I packed enough clothes :( Maybe I packed a little too much...and I am also afraid that I might be kind of warm there because it is supposedly summer now in Europe. But I bet their summers are kind of cold too -.- And our teachers told us to bring warm clothes.

RAWR I SERIOUSLY CAN'T WAIT!!! TIME....Y U NO HURRY UP! Haish, tomorrow, I am just going to spend the entire day waiting for the time when I can finally go to the airport, get on the plane and set off for Europe!! Okay, I think I need to go to sleep now...

Goodnight and see you later :)

packing, packing, packing

hey there~

Again, i am sorry that I haven't updated in so long :( I wanted to update everyday...Urgh..I really need to stick to what i plan to do and not get distracted by 9gag. I always troll for a very long time and then I forget all about posting! I am so sorry! Next time, it won't happen again.

Anyway, on Wednesday, my school had a Policy Dialogue for the Upper Sec. Which really sucked balls because it was from 2.45pm to 5pm. It is just 3 ministers who came to our school to talk about the policies in Singapore and such. Not that I don't find these things interesting, it was just that the ministers did not make the speech that much interesting. I tell you, if you want to talk about these kinds of things to teenagers, you better know how to make it very interesting...at least for me.

Don't ask me why a hippo. It just looks really cute, don't you think so?

On Thursday, it was my CCA's IHG! I was so excited for it because the Upper Sec were in charge of it. Initially, the IHG was supposed to be on Wednesday. However, since the upper sec had the compulsory Policy Dialogue thing, it was moved to Thursday. We have two courts. The 'C' division used the first court for their training, while we used the second court for the IHG. It was so sad that the 'C' division couldn't join us because they needed to train for their competitions, which starts after school reopens on the 25th of June.

But the IHG was still fun anyway. I was a table official for a few games and a referee for one game. And I realised how hard it is to referee -.- never again shall I resent a referee whenever they call a foul on us. I also played one game for my house. We made a rule that there can be only one CCA member playing for their house at any one time. It was so much relaxed than the actual game. Obviously :)

It was Sports Fest on Friday! This year they made it in the morning than in the afternoon. Which was so much better because it is usually freaking hot in the afternoon. It was much cooler in the morning :) The track events were okay. But the events everyone was looking forward to was the teacher's musical chairs and the cheerleaders dance performance!

It's always so funny seeing the teachers play musical chairs because of the way they fight over to sit when the music stops XD And of course, everyone loves watching the cheerleaders! It was actually a cheerleading competition between the five houses. Every year since sec 1, my house has been winning the champion title! Because they are that good :) And this year, they won again! I felt so sad because my camera died before I could take any photos or videos of them :( No matter, my friends took loads of photos.

After Sports Fest ended at around 12.30pm, I went back home to eat and change so that I could go shopping! I was going shopping to buy some jeans and shoes for my school trip to Europe on Tuesday! The teacher said although it was summer there, it'll probably still be cold so they asked so to pack warm clothes. I went to buy some because I didn't have enough. I also bought a pair of shoes because I don't have any shoes (not counting school shoes and basketball shoes).

I am serious. I have never been much of a shoe person. I only have a pair of converse for everyday wear, a pair of slippers and a pair of flats to wear on more formal occasions. I can't wear that pair of converse overseas because they are quite old; I had them since I was 11! So, my mum allowed me to buy a new pair of shoes. Finally.

The shoes look cool, right? I can't wait to wear them to the airport on Tuesday! I only packed all my clothes yesterday because I couldn't decided which shirts to bring. And my mum also dug up another two jeans from somewhere. So now, I am bringing a total of 7 jeans- the 2 news ones, 3 old ones and 2 older ones. I also brought two sweatpants and 3 long-sleeved shirts for sleepwear. I also packed some of the shirts I bought from school Including my CCA shirt! :) Oh gosh, my room was a complete mess yesterday when I was packing my stuff.

All cleaned up!

LOL. I think my luggage is a bit too small to carry clothes meant for 10 days. Haha, my mum kept asking me if I needed another suitcase. However, the teacher in charge of the trip only allowed us one suitcase and one carry-on bag.

I am going shopping again later to buy more stuff. I just need some socks and a belt... I think. I'll probably think of more stuff to buy once we get to the shopping mall. ^.^ I think I'll also need some moisturizer...

Okay, that's all for now. I'll update tomorrow again. I promise! I have a Milo Cup game tomorrow. So I'll probably write about that too.

Byee~~

Holidays are coming~~

hey worldd

haish, I am so sorry. I don't feel like updating much today. I am feeling very very tired today. I ran 2.4km in the morning and in the afternoon, I went for Squash IHG and then for training. IHG stands for Inter-House Games. Our school has a house system in which everyone is sorted into a house, even the teachers. So, the house committees will always host IHGs every year in which any CCA can sign up to do an IHG.

I went for the Squash IHG mainly because my friend begged me to. She said our house was under-represented, so I, having house spirit, decided to go for it :D It was kind of okay, I guess. Though I completely suck at squash -.- Like really. I think being left-handed kind of a handicap for me... I only managed to win one game of the three games I played TT.TT But I think Squash is kind of fun too :D Maybe in the future, I'll play more Squash ^.^

Haha, I think all sports are fun :) Anyways, I am very proud to say that I improved my 2.4km timing!! By 1 min leh! Last year, I ran 16.09min. This year, I ran 14.57min!!! WOOHOO!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT HUH?! LOL. I think I could have run faster if I didn't walk so much in the 6th round :) BUT ANYWAY, MY TIMING IS STILL AWESOME! To me anyway xD

I think I am going to go sleep now~~ Sorry, I think this week, the posts are going to be short as I don't feel like writing much these days. I want the holidays to start now, that's why! HOLIDAY....Y U NO COME FASTER!

another quick update

hi guys :)

I haven't posted in a week! I am so sorry because last week was the week when all my projects were due. So I had to do some last-minute prep on my projects before submitting them in. Finally, after handing in all the projects, i am freee.

I am sorry, but I am not going to write much today as I am planning on sleeping early. I have been sleeping so late these past few months :( I want to make it up this week by sleeping early everyday. I want to be in bed by 11pm today. And this week, I don't have that much homework to do. Even the teachers are not teaching that much. The school holidays are going to start this Friday! And everybody is already in the holiday mood :)

The only things I have left to do is my History SBQ worksheet and writing a script for Dramafest. I think I can get it don by this week since I am so free :D Oh, and there is still the Bio assignment to do...Not bad, as compared to two weeks ago -.-

I just wanted to write that I had another great weekend again :D On Friday, I went to see my school's symphonic band's concert. They were really good leh! They played pieces of Viva la Vida, Wish Upon A Star, Under the Sea etc. They also played their own rendition on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and DO-RE-MI.

There was my school Openhouse on Saturday too! All the cute P5s and P6s came to visit the school with their parents :) I never realised how small they really were until now! My batch is kind of big compared to them. Maybe it's just because the P5s and P6s are girls...

On Sunday, we had a farewell party for my teacher at my senior's house. He actually left the school two months ago. However, we were only able to find time now. He was our CCA teacher for a while. And he was a really cool teacher too!

Okay, that's all for today. I'll write more tomorrow. Maybe I'll also post some pictures I took over the weekend :) Going to sleep now.

Goodnight.

The awesomest weekend ever :)

Hey!

I am back! I am feeling relatively alright now. I spent the entire day sleeping, which really helped in getting rid of the fever. It's night now. And I'm nearly done with revising for my Chemistry practical exam tomorrow.

I am writing this post on my mother's iPhone. So I can't put in the pictures I want as they are all in the laptop and my dad conveniently left it in his car -.-

As the title states, this post is going to be about the best weekend I ever had so far in this year :)

On Friday, we went to my junior's house to prepare all the things we were going to sell for the school carnival the next day.

All of us that could go to my junior's house met up at the school foyer after school and we set off. Two of my juniors went to collect all the flowers from Far East Flora while the rest of us went to Plaza Singapura to buy some stuff like ribbons to wrap the flowers in a bouquet.

We had ordered roses, carnations and gerberas. Traditionally, we had always sold roses for the past few years. This year, we decided to sell carnations as the day after the carnival was Mother's Day. I have no idea where the gerberas came from.

The pictures are of the gerberas and the roses we sold. I actually have pictures of carnations, but they're not on my mum's camera roll :(

When we reached my junior's house, we started de-throning the roses right away. The roses seriously had too many thorns! Especially the red ones. We bought red, white and pink ones. the gerberas and the carnations didn't need de-thorning.

We took quite a long time to complete everything. My junior had only so many knives and scissors to cut away the thorns. And there were only so many of us.

We bought around 800 flowers. At least 250 of each. I think we ordered more carnations...

After de-thorning all the roses and wrapping the bottom in wet cotton and aluminum foil, we started making bouquets of carnations. The carnations were quite small and cute :)

My junior was actually having a sleepover at her house. However, my parents didn't let me sleep over ( actually, it was my mum -.-), so they picked me up at around midnight. I know, very late right? Might as well sleep over :(

I reached home at around 1am and I hit the sack straight away after changing out. I only took a bath in the morning when I woke up at 6am.

I had to wake up early as I was meeting my friends at Bishan MRT station at 7am. We were meeting up as all of us were participating in the walk-a-jogathon the school always organized which is held before the carnival.

During the walk-a-jogathon, my friends and I walked for the entire 2.5 km! I tell, we were the slowest amongst all the girls. The boys were so hardcore. They started running right away even though it wasn't a marathon. And then they ran back to get more if their friends to run with them!

Anyways, after completing the walk, the carnival had already started, so my friends and I went to visit the booths. I was so happy when I found the Art Club booth as they had face-painting! I liked getting my face painted :3 I'll put up a picture of the design next time.

After getting my face-painted, I went to my CCA's booth to collect some flowers and walked around the place trying to sell the flowers. I was really shy about approaching strangers, so I first approached all my friends that were there to persuade them to buy flowers.

Wow, some of my batch-mates and my seniors were really very incredible. They had no qualms about going up to complete strangers and asking them to buy the flowers. They can totally become formidable entrepreneurs.

That's about practically what I did during the school carnival. Actually, I was also browsing through the booths while selling flowers. And I bought some badges and got my hair spray-painted ^.^ I also took some photos with my friends :)) and I also visited the dunking booth to see the teachers being dunked and went to my senior's haunted house!

The flowers were a hit! We managed to sell almost all of them! LOL. Mostly thanks to my seniors and batch-mates who were willing to shamelessly approach strangers. Towards the end of the carnival, we cut down the prices of the flowers which attracted much more people!

We earned a whopping $1400 from it! Can you believe it?! All of us were so happy :) Ahh. After the entire thing, my legs ached like hell. And I still had to go to Bishan library to meet up with my friends to discuss our english PT.

I really enjoyed last weekend ;) I hope I enjoy this weekend too!

Sick

Hello world

I am not in school today because I am feeling sick. Just wanted to give a quick update as I haven't updated at all during the weekend. I was really busy during the weekend preparing for my school carnival and all.

Anyways, I only have a slight fever. Maybe later in the afternoon I'll write about my awesome weekend :)

A picture before I go. Haha, the dinosaur is so cute ^.^

Movies

Hello world :)

I just watched Men In Black II on Mio TV just now and that brought back memories :) That movie was released in 2003, when I was 6 years old. I remember that movie showing on TV year after year and I watched bits of it every time. Anyways, the main reason I watched Men In Black II was because I wanted to see whether I should watch Men In Black III that is coming out later this month.

The movie was relatively okay...I remember it being funnier though. Or is it just because it is much harder to make me laugh now? It is so funny that they are making the 3rd movie ten years later. I haven't watched the trailer yet though. Should I go watch it? The thing is, a few friends and I are planning to go watch a movie and we can't decided between Men In Black III and Dark Shadows.

Now, who wouldn't want to watch a movie with Johnny Depp in it? I love Johnny Depp! I liked the character he played in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. I tell you, he was the LIFE of the movie(s). Initially, I thought that Dark Shadows is going to be some scary psychological thriller movie. But when I heard Johnny Depp was in it, I knew it couldn't be that. Johnny Depp always acted as the weirdest and the funniest character in any movie. Like Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, and of course, Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Can you see that all the movie posters has his face on it?! That's how popular he is <3 I didn't really know how well he acted in The Tourist. But it must have been good :) The movie had two of Hollywood's biggest stars: Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. How can it not be good?

Actually, I also want to watch The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man. Ahhhh. so many good movies coming out and only so much time to watch :'( Annnddd, there's also Snow-White and The Huntsman. I never really watched a movie with Kirsten Stewart in it before and I don't really like the Twilight series, so I want to watch that movie. That movie has Chris Hemsworth in it too! Which made me want to watch it even more <3

I heard that it is supposedly the summer season in America now. That's why all these blockbuster movies are coming out...but they are coming out too fast!!! I want to watch so many of them and I only have so much time and money! NOT FORGETTING MONEYY. But I think that The Avengers is a must-watch for me. I have no idea why, but yeah...Hey, it's Marvel comics, you know. Even someone like me has heard of it.

But I'll definitely watch a movie on my birthday :) I don't care. I will! I'll ask my mother to give me money to watch a movie as a birthday present rather than cooking food for me like she does every year. The good thing is that The Amazing Spider-Man is coming out in July. I can use my allowance for July to watch the movie <3

The June Holidays are coming soon...time to think of stuff to do! I don't want to spend my holidays studying and revising like I did for the last 2 years :/ Not that I am not going to study and revise. I just want to spend more time outdoors than indoors :) It'll be good for my health ;D And it will also be good to spend some time away from the computer -.-

Not Socially Awkwardd

hey dude :)

I had training today, which really sucked balls because I was really enjoying my break :( The last training I had was on Monday. Tuesday was Labour Day. So we obviously didn't have training. Our coach also canceled our training on Thursday because we had an exam on Friday and our coach wanted us to revise :) So nice, right?

Training obviously involved LOADS of running. And I have said this before, I HATE running. With a passion. I just force myself to run because I have to -.- I am seriously not looking forward to 2.4km running. I will probably jog all the way or just walk. Anyways, in the past 2 years, I manged to pull 16 mins. And I still got a gold for NAPFA (or PFT) because I always get all As for 5 items. I only needed to get a minimum of C to get gold. So I usually run hard enough to do 16 mins. Speaking of which...I am doing my 5 items this thursday! T.T

Alright, enough about running. I just checked my calendar and I realised that I have a very packed week ahead! Which makes me feel happy because it means that I won't be cooped up at home! Actually, some of the things just concern meeting up with my groupmates to discuss our projects...But it's still outside home, right? That is how much of a life I have -.-

Seriously, last year, I barely went out at all. I was cooped up at home dunno doing what. This year, I am proud to say that I have been going out more often! Despite my mother not liking it at all. I think she is too used to having me at home, LOL. Everytime I want to go out, I have to convince her for quite a while before she lets me go out -.- While my father will be like "anything can larh." :D DADS <3

This year, I watched two movies in a space of a month!!! Which is quite a record for someone who watched their first movie at 11 and it was Spiderman 3 lll-.- I watched John Carter with my CCA-mates and my coaches during the March Holidays. And I watched The Hunger Games with my friend on the 1st of April :)

The guy in John Carter, Taylor Kitsch, was freaking hot...and Josh Hutcherson is so cute!! Okay, that's not the only thing I noticed when I went to watch the movies. Both of them happened to be sci-fi, which is my favourite genre!! And I'll obviously watch The Hunger Games because I have read the book -.-

Anyways, continuing on with my awesome social life :D I went to my senior's school's dramafeste later that April. I thought it was my seniors, but it was actually the juniors -.- But I already bought the ticket then, so I went to watch it anyway :) And it was really good! I can't believe that the actors were around my age. I think some of them are better actors than some of the actors in MediaCorp LOL. The program booklet is really cool :)

I swear I have the worst camera on earth. The picture gets completely shaky at the slightliest movement. Ugh, that's why the picture looks so blur :( The rest of April was spent revising for exams and going off for matches T.T It was only until the last week when I became a little more free. But even then, I still had loads of projects left to do TT.TT

This weekend I am going to be very busy because I'll be involved in preparing the items my CCA is going to sell during the school carnival. Can you believe it? The school carnival in this Saturday! I seriously can't wait for it to come! My school's Tennis CCA is going to have a dunking booth!! >.< I am definitely going to their booth :) I heard they'll be dunking teachers. Mwahahahahahha. The day before, my CCA-mates and I will be going to my junior's house so that we can finish our preparations for the carnival :)

The next two weeks are going to be busy busy too! I'll be going for my school band's concert and there is also my school's openhouse. And next week, most of my projects are due! Which means that after next week, I AM A FREE WOMAN!!!!! YEAHHH. Then, I can concentrate on shopping for the school field-trip to Germany and France <3 Ahh, I can go to sleep happy now :)

Oh, I just remembered that it is photo-taking tomorrow...oh, what great joy -.-

SHAKESPEARE IN DA HOUSE!!!

Hello world :)

As you know, yesterday, I went to see Shakespeare in the Park at Fort Canning Park. I came home really late after the thing ended so my mum refused to let me use the computer :( Anyways, I was feeling very tired then. I left home at 4.30pm and only came back at around 11.50pm. As you can see, I was gone for practically half the day. Actually, the show ended at around 10.20pm. It was camwhoring with my friends that took so long XD

I got to the venue at around 5.50pm or something. But the gate didn't open until around 6.30pm! T.T So I had to wait. And my friends haven't arrived yet too. I took our tickets from and then I got in line waiting for the gate to open. There was light drizzle when I arrived. I was hoping that it won't become a full-on storm because I was really looking forward to this event! Look, this is the ticket:

I am sorry, I took the picture at home, so the lighting kind of sucked :( On the ticket it says it costs $33, however, the school managed to subsidise for us until it only cost $25! The school so nice, right? When the gate opened at 6.30pm, my friends still haven't arrived yet, so I left their tickets at the counter and went in. OMG! The stage was freaking cool! It was slanting downwards leh! Here are some of the pictures I took while waiting for my friends :)

Looking at it, you can tell that the sponsers really spent alot of time, effort and money into making such a beautiful set. So, obviously, they were counting on the show being a raving success XD The crowd that you see here are only half of the actual crowd, towards the starting of the show, more and more people streamed in. As you can see, people are sitting in front of the stage on their picnic mats. We supposedly to "picnic under the stars". Obviously, everyone brought along food and drinks. Oh god, the smell of food...and beer -.- Seriously, why would people want to drink beer at an event like this? There'll obviously be little kids around, right?

While waiting for my friends, I also read the program booklet. They were giving program booklets in exchange for a small donation. It was easy to see why: SRT (the theatre that was hosting the play) was a non-profit organisation, so they needed all the donations they can get. I decided to be nice and give $4 :) See, I am so big-hearted LOL. This is the program booklet:

It is the cover of all the Shakespeare in the Park posters! I was flipping through it and also saw advertisments for two plays that SRT was going to perform later this year. And they seem interesting enough...Maybe I'll save up money and buy a ticket to one of the plays.

The second one looks scary....Anyways, here are more pictures that I took before the play started:

The more expensive seats. Pavilion tickets

Random trees :D

The building at the top of the hill :)

The car O.O

The theatre was on the base of hill >.< I was at the top :D

Look at the crowd O.O

The set right before the show started

Sorry of the last two blur pictures :( My camera doesn't work well in zoom. I just realised that I wrote so much about what happened before the play .__. Okay, so, now, I am going to talk about the play :D Before that, here is a synopsis of the play ripped from the website: http://www.sistic.com.sg

If music be the food of love, play on.

Shakespeare in the Park is back with a fun-filled frolic like never before.

From the company that brought you A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing and MacbethTwelfth Night is a rambunctious romantic comedy that will have you laughing and falling in love all over again.

Filled with witty banter and side-splitting laughs, Twelfth Night is a delightful comedy big on love, life and merriment.

Picnic under the stars and be romanced by this quirky and endearing comedy. Twelfth Night promises to be an unforgettable and magical evening for one and all.

Orsino, the Duke of Illyria pines for the lovely Countess Olivia who rejects his advances. In the meantime, the shipwrecked Viola, convinced that she has lost all kin, disguises herself as a boy and takes the name Cesario. Cesario soon finds herself in the Duke’s household as his page and helps him woo fair Olivia.

In a strange turn of events, Olivia finds herself falling for Cessario (who really is Viola in disguise) and Viola herself is falling for the Duke. With this love triangle complete, hilarious twists are bound to ensue.

The actors and actresses were really good! Although half the time I couldn't really understand the language because they tried to keep to the original Shakespearean language as much as they could. But I managed to get the gist of it. After doing Romeo and Juliet for Literature last year, the language was slightly easier to understand. Their acting was top-class, which really helped. The actors were really good-looking too ^.^

This kind of play really made me love Shakespeare all over again. It was one of Shakespeare's funnier plays. I really wanted to watch A Midsummer's Night's Dream when it was showing in Singapore 2 years ago...but obviously, the ticket was too expensive :( I hope that they do another funny play of Shakespeare's next year. Shakespeare can be really extreme when it comes to writing his plays. He can write the most depressing plays (Macbeth) and the funniest plays (A Midsummer's Night's Dream).

I hope I can go for next year's one too! And this time, I'll go with packed food. I didn't pack food yesterday as I was already rushing for time and I forgot to tell my mum beforehand to prepare some food for me. So, I had to buy the really expensive food which they were selling at the venue T.T It cost $6! And the portions weren't even that big. Ugh...waste of money....

Okay, so now I have to do my English speech...which is due tomorrow. And I haven't even started on it...I am screwed. To cheer myself up, I decided to take a picture of my favourite socks!

So cute right? Bought it from Daiso ^.^ And the socks are very warm too! Which really helped since it was freezing cold yesterday because of the rain. Right, back to my English Speech. TT.TT
