hey dude~
I am proud to say that today, I didn't fall asleep during lesson time again! Actually, it's more like today we had very few lessons as compared to other days. Though school ended at 2pm like all other days, Thursday is the day when school starts late! School starts at 8.30am instead on 7.20am! But I still reach school at the time I always reach on any other day: 7.15am. Because my dad also drop off my sister at her primary school and you know primary schools never start late -.-
And anyways, we also have Assembly on Thursdays. So, there seems to be lesser lessons seem because of the Assembly block. We had PE right before Assembly. Can you imagine how sweaty and hot we were when we went for Assembly? -.- haha, when we had PE on Thursdays before Assembly, we get to sit at the mezzanine floor! And the view is so much clearer from up there. All PE-before-Assembly classes sit on the mezzanine floor. LOL. Partly, because we'll probably stink up the hall and also because we're not in formal attire: the school uniform plus the tie. It's so sad we only have PE on thursday on Odd Weeks. Even Week Thursdays we have to wear the tie with our uniform :( and the tie practically strangles us! I don't know how the hell the prefects survive...
Furthermore, two of our teachers didn't come for class today too! Our English teacher didn't come because she was on course. And our Math teacher didn't come because she was on MC. Anyways, during English, our teacher told us to discuss our English PT with our group. Which is what I did. See, I so guai! We're supposed to write a blog about a cause we're planning to do, e.g. helping the elderly, helping animals, saving the environment. The problem was, my group still hasn't decided which kind of cause to do. And we spent the entire block discussing, while digressing all the while in between :P It was kind of hard to decide because we wanted to do something we're good at. And my group members are really good in the arts which I suck at. I am more sports-inclined which they suck at...We were still undecided when the block ended T.T So we decided to discuss during recess. After more digressions, we decided to do a sort of enrichment program for kids: to help them with the arts or the sports or their studies.
During Math, the relief teacher told us to discuss our Math PT with our groups. We're supposed to do a Mathematics model of something and my group hasn't decided on that. At first, we wanted to do an infectious disease like AIDS (bwahahahah). But most of the other groups were also doing that. So, we were trying to decided to do something else. Like the trend of pop culture. And we went to watch videos on Youtube! Just kidding. We went to see video stats to see if we can form a model from it. We have to submit the proposal tomorrow! T.T And we've yet to decide!
Anyways, I am dragging on about the real issue, which is the title above: The Gold Trophy! Today, we went to Jurong East Sports Complex to receive our award: The Fair Play Award! You don't know how happy we were when we were informed that we received that award! That award is only given to one team from the girls and one team from the boys in our CCA who demonstrated great sportsmanship and committed the least fouls.
The Award Ceremony was right after the Nationals girl's and boys' Finals games. When we reached the place, the girls game was already over. So, we watched the boys' game while waiting. The boys' game was kind of cool and scary to watch. It was cool because the way the boys played was really good. It was easy to see that that's the reason why they were fighting for 1st position in Nationals. It was scary because of how they defended. Wow, so power! It was times like those that I really love my CCA :)
But anyways, our CCA finally got a Gold trophy! I mean, we always came in 2nd place in zonals, so we always got the silver trophy. But the Fair Play Award trophy was gold! FINALLY! LOL. Actually the colour was goldish-yellow. hurhur. After that, we took some photos with the trophy and dispersed home LOL. And I brought back the trophy because I lived nearest to the sports complex -__-
Awww, shucks. I am seriously not looking forward to tomorrow. We're most likely going to get back our History and Chem papers. And I heard from the others that alot of people either failed it or did really well for it. No average in between! NOOO!!! And I really want to do well for my History paper! *Crosses fingers* Anyways, tomorrow, they're letting us dress up for school! So, maybe choosing something to wear will get my mind out of receiving the papers...
One can only hope...(wow, I sound so wise and sagely ^.^)
