dum de dum~

hello awesome world :)

I didn't take that many pictures today, because I had school but I still managed to take some pictures! LOL. Few of them are pictures of food ^.^ Mostly because I like to eat food :D

This morning, I asked my mum to give me two boiled eggs and a cup of milo for breakfast. As I always feel hungry whenever I go to school because my mum will only make a cup of any random hot drink and just leave some biscuits on the table for me to take. I read somewhere that it is good to eat eggs for breakfast, so I decided to try. And It really worked! I didn't go hungry before recess! So happy~~ Why am I happy over this?

Anyhoo~~moving on, today I also got back my Chem paper...and I failed it. Seriously, I couldn't believe I actually failed it -.- All that memorising went to waste. LOL, actually, I did pretty okay for most of the questions. Except one...and it was worth like at least... 8 marks...and I only got 1 mark. If I had scored better for that question, then I wouldn't have failed. It seems that I still have yet to refine the art of regurgitating...like a sir (sorry, couldn't resist that one XD)

I realised that many of my subjects require memorising and hence, we regurgitate all of it during the exam. The question I did badly in was on atomic structure and bonding. I don't know what rubbish I was thinking that day to not spot an easy regurgitating question... Okay enough about regurgitating...i feel like a cow.

Moving on...today, my CCA finally resumed~~ We had a two-week break after our competitions ended. And naturally, I wasn't looking forward to it -.- It meant RUNNING around again and I hate running. Nobody likes to run. Except, maybe the trackers. But they're a different species of people. We trained with the juniors today. Oh god, they do so much running...I don't remember running this much for training this year...that's probably because we had been doing strategy drills since January which really doesn't require much running. In fact, we barely use half the court.

The juniors seriously have amazing stamina...I could barely keep up! Actually, most of the drills they did I remembered doing them last year when I was in 'C' div. And we did even more than them -.- While they're doing one round. We did freaking 3 rounds! Well, I guess one round is enough...

Yesterday was one of my junior's birthday. So, to celebrate, my juniors bought a cake for her to eat after training! It was damn nice! And mango flavour too.

The cake looks nice right? It was seriously very yummy!! I am hyperventilating...after everyone ate the cake and cleared up the place, I went home~~ On the school bus-stop, I met my classmate from sec1-2. We used to take the same bus back together after school and we're fairly close. She's in the campaign team for one of the prefects in my school whose running for head-prefect. That prefect happened to also be in my sec1-2 class AND was my deskie last year <3 Since, I've already made up my mind to vote for her, my friend gave me a sticker made by the campaign team. LOL, like SG Elections campaign materials ^.^

My family wasn't home when I came back. They went to collect my younger sister's mother tongue mid-year results. So, I had the house to myself for nearly 3 hours! Of course, coming back after CCA, I first ate dinner. My mum cooked tandoori chicken today! And I love my mum's tandoori chicken. My mum also knows that I trying to eat more vegetables; she cooked some long beans for me! And I added a little gravy from the fish-head soup to my rice so that it wouldn't be so dry.

Okay, it doesn't really look that appetizing because I dumped everything together. My mum is so much better at this than me...haish...excuse me while I emo for a while...While eating this, I watched some Phineas and Ferb on Youtube! Yes, although I'll be 15 in a little over a month, Phineas and Ferb is still my most favourite show, along with Spongebob!

After that, I had a little snack~~ because I feel especially hungry on the days after CCA. My parents went grocery shopping yesterday and brought alot of fruits. My snack was the reminder 4 strawberries and a cup of mango juice. So healthy right? :D

Ignore that hand. My youngest sister was trying to steal the strawberries -.- Okay, so that's about it for today...so boring right? Haish, I have given up on the commonwealth essay as I am so busy already. Maybe I can write it tomorrow...because technically, Wales is nearly one day behind Singapore...so, I have more time to write! Maybe I'll bother about it tomorrow...anyways, it's Labour Day tomorrow too! No school!!! WHOOPPEE :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

gdnite, it's nearly midnight :)

Lunch at JCUBE

Hey dude~

Today, I finally went to JCUBE! After hearing so much about it, I finally got to see it! It looked really cool from outside and inside. However, I only went there to eat lunch ._. Like seriously?! There's a hawker centre near my house that sells food so much cheaper than the kopitiam at JCUBE. I mean, seriously, if you want to go to JCUBE, you must at least shop there right?! And we did nothing there except to eat -.- Anyways, I still took some pictures :D

I wore a shirt that my friend in Art Club designed for me. The design is really nice leh! Though the shirt fabric is a bit flimsy...she made it into a crop top. Here it is:

Haha, my friends always call me a swog ( dun ask me, it's a loong story), so I asked her to make a shirt of it :3 LOL. When my family asked what 'swog' meant, I told them it meant 'swag' ^.^ Obviously, I wore a tank top underneath the shirt.

Here's the jewellery (can I even call it that?) that I wore along with it :)

I wanted to take my mum's bag but I realised it looked funny with the outfit, so I took another bag that my mum bought from as a souvenir overseas.

my mum's bag :)

The sovenir bag :)

Here are some random photo that I took on the car ride to JCUBE :)

The cushion in the car

My 3-yr-old sister's teddy bear :D

...and her hello kitty bag ^.^

ZOMG, JCUBE! LOL

My younger sister's watch :)

My youngest sister's watch :D

Coming nearer!

The entrance~~
My dad went to park the car while my mother and my sisters went to look for a place to eat. I don't know why we didn't go and eat McDonalds'....seriously. It was right beside the entrance! We went to the basement to eat at the kopitiam. It was so sad. Most of the stalls weren't Halal :( So, we could only eat from the Indonesian BBQ stall. And you know how spicy Indonesian food can be -.- Here are the food pictures :D

soup!

My food! Looks nice right? ;D

Time to eat~~

The tofu!! It was frigging awesome

The coke wasn't enough to completely quench the spiciness T.T

COKECOKECOKE

The table after we were done ;D
Though we only went to JCUBE to eat, the food was actually quite nice! This was the first weekend I ever had that we ate outside food on both days! Usually, we'll only eat out on one day. And that's only like once a month too! So, this weekend, I am feeling really happy :) Haha, I realised that when we have any special occasion, it almost always involves food. Like most Asians ^.^ Oh god, I remembered I have CCA tomorrow...arghghghghghghgh

haish, never mind -.- anyways, I need to get back to writing my commonwealth essay :)

bye~~

It's Saturday, Saturday, gotta get down on Saturday...

supp

Okay, the title is stupid -.- but what else can I say? It is Saturday! Anyways, I just felt like doing a second blog post just for the sake of it :3 I realised that my posts don't have any pictures at all. It is just chunk after chunk of text. Which looks really unappealing. Especially, if one day in the distant future, I feel like reading my old posts again and will get utterly turned off by the text. So, from this post onwards, I am going to put in pictures!

Today, my mum told me not to go for my mother tongue class in the morning so that I can help my sister with her subjects. I don't take mother tongue in school because I take NTIL. Anyways, I was fine with it because my mother tongue exam had been loong over and I hated my teacher. She's a bitch. My sister's mid-year exams were coming and she's horrible at her subjects. Like seriously -.-

I helped with her Math, mostly. I may be horrible at Math now, but primary school Math is super easy! I don't know I was struggling with it when I was in primary school...Actually, I did quite well for my Prelim Math paper in P6. I got 86/100 because I bothered to study for it. So good right? *ego inflating* Now, I can barely pull 60 -.- *ego deflates* And who wouldn't?! We're learning freaking Logarithms!!

I am getting off-topic here...So, after I helped her with her dumb Math. I went 9gagging, fb-ing, tweeting and all the random things people do on the Net. And then I went to nap for a while~ When I woke up, it was around 3.30pm and my mum asked me to help my sister again TT.TT So, I did. It's so annoying teaching that little brat. She doesn't pay attention at all!

Okay, I'll spare you the details of the other monotonous stuff that I did. I wanted to go out today, like just walk around the neighbourhood :( But I was too lazy! Maybe I'll go tomorrow... But I went to the library and borrowed a DVD. A loony tunes one because I love loony tunes! Who doesn't?

The DVD cover! :DD

When I came home, my mother and my younger sister were watching a random movie on the TV. I didn't bother to see which because I know both of them like to watch those sappy romantic ones -.- At around 8pm, I finally got to watch the DVD! My CD player was spoilt (don't ask me how. I still really don't know the details...) and anyway, It couldn't support DVD. So, I used the Kinect CD player! Cool, right? I always used the Kinect one to play all my DVDs. LOL. I don't know where the gaming CD is...My youngest sister must have kept it somewhere...

The video control of Kinect! Used this to pause the video and rubbish
The DVD was okay....somehow I always thought loony tunes would be funnier...or is it just because I grew older? I still haven't finished watching all the CDs because my youngest sister started bothering me -.- grr

Daffy Duck! haha, I put subtitles because I am too lazy to discern the words for myself :P
I was feeling hungry after that, so I decided to make some instant noodles. There was one packet left! Just nice leh! I can't remember the flavour, but I remember the caption saying it was spicy...but I still cooked it anyway~ I know instant noodles spicy is very toned-down from the original one. I bet if I ate the original one, my mouth would just blow up. I can't take instant-noodles-spicy as it is.

My instant noodles! The drink beside in Mango Juice :3

Haha, My dad happened to buy mango juice syrup today. So, I made myself a cup of mango juice to drink if the noodles ever got too spicy for me. Mango juice and instant noodles just don't go together. But it's better than drinking with Milo...And my instant noodles completely failed -.- I think I added too much water...and it tasted a bit bland. Oh gosh, I need to work on my cooking skills! I wanted to eat while surfing the Net, but my younger sister was using it, so I read a book I borrowed from the Library instead.

The book is okay so far. It's about a woman who suddenly had to share her office space with someone. I know it doesn't sound interesting. However, the protagonist always vented about that person on her blog and one day, her blog became famous! And that person started reading her blog too!

All photos were taken by my mum's iPhone camera. My mum has a better phone than me T.T Can you believe it?! It was my dad's one before he switched to the iPhone 4S model. So now, both my parents have better phone models than me T.T This is my phone:

Yes, it's an ancient Nokia phone. And this was MY MUM'S old one...why does my mum have a freaking iPhone, I'll never understand. Half the time, she uses MY PHONE to gabber with her siblings overseen. And she barely knows how to use that phone too! Yes, as you can see, one of the buttons is missing...my youngest sister managed to tear it out...I had no idea how she did it o.O See, another defect...At least I can be consoled that Nokia phones are practically indestructible. The older models are at least, not the newer 'smartphone' ones. Actually, this phone is the father of all smartphones. LOL.

After my sister finished using the computer, I did my usual stuff like fb-ing and 9gagging...mostly 9gagging. Until the pizza came. On Saturday, my mum will either cook really nice food, or we order out. Today, we did both! My mum made her awesome pasta and briyani to eat during the day and we ate pizza at night! Though we ordered regular, when we usually ordered medium...But the pizza was still nice anyway! Like it always is :)

Ahh, tired already~~ And it's barely 11pm...never mind, sleeping early is good. And I don't feel like doing my homework anyway. I'll do it tomorrow (that's what all procrastinators say). Wow, this post is especially long because of the pictures. But it's worth it :3

Goodnight!

The Moody Weather...(not about the weather at all)

hiii

Why am I awake at 9am on a Saturday?! What's wrong with me?!! Never mind, since I am awake, I shall write rubbish about yesterday...

So, I didn't fall asleep in class again ~~yay!! LOL. Actually, it is kind of hard for me to fall asleep since I am sitting right at the front where the teacher can see whatever I am doing -.- And the thing is: why the hell am I sitting in front?! I am not the shortest of people. Seriously, the people sitting behind me are wayy shorter than me for goodness sake! Except for the people sitting on the last row because they really are very tall.

And I think the main reason why was because my Chem teacher caught me falling asleep in her class. And my Chem teacher happened to be my form teacher. And she was the one who did our seating arrangement...and you probably know what happened...And I have been sitting on the front row for 2 frigging terms!!! Seriously, I am hoping that the next term, she'll let me sit at the back, like the 3rd row or something.

LOL. I remember in last year, in Sec 2, I was sitting at the back for all 4 terms. The teacher always threw me at the extreme corner of the classroom. In term 1, my seat was right beside the back-door. In term 2, I was at the opposite end of the classroom, near the windows, but I was at the 3rd row. And in term 3, same side, but the 4th and last row. The annoying thing about the seats were that I couldn't catch any of the air-con because I was sitting at the extreme ends of the classroom, unless the air-con was placed at 18 degrees or something. But we don't do that, we have two air-cons and both of them are usually set to 21-23 degrees. And the middle row will always get all the air-con -.- so annoying...

Yesterday, we had Chem practical: where we go to the lab and do random experiments. We did titration yesterday...AGAIN. I think this was the 4th time we did it...Actually, yesterday's one was a mock assessment in preparation for the actual titration test like next week... Oh god, I hope I didn't do too badly...I always put too much acid and the solution becomes alkaline instead of being neutralised...

I also received my History essay back. I got 15/20 for it!!! I want to cry TT.TT Just 1 mark away from 4.0! I was feeling so sad yesterday...And that paper was worth at least 20% of our grade...Haish...never mind there's always the end-year paper. I am hoping that I'll do well for the Hist. PT... even though I think that I did complete and utter rubbish...Why am I doing so horribly for History?!! The next History exam is probably in July...and it'll be SBQ...so maybe I can score there. It will be on the Industrial Revolution...and I have yet to read the notes although the teacher is almost done with the topic...wow, what have I been doing these past few weeks...

I'll be so happy that after all the PTs and AAs have been handed in, I'll resume to having a life that does not include studies :) ahhh, when will the time come...

The Gold Trophy

hey dude~

I am proud to say that today, I didn't fall asleep during lesson time again! Actually, it's more like today we had very few lessons as compared to other days. Though school ended at 2pm like all other days, Thursday is the day when school starts late! School starts at 8.30am instead on 7.20am! But I still reach school at the time I always reach on any other day: 7.15am. Because my dad also drop off my sister at her primary school and you know primary schools never start late -.-

And anyways, we also have Assembly on Thursdays. So,  there seems to be lesser lessons seem  because of the Assembly block. We had PE right before Assembly. Can you imagine how sweaty and hot we were when we went for Assembly? -.- haha, when we had PE on Thursdays before Assembly, we get to sit at the mezzanine floor! And the view is so much clearer from up there. All PE-before-Assembly classes sit on the mezzanine floor. LOL. Partly, because we'll probably stink up the hall and also because we're not in formal attire: the school uniform plus the tie. It's so sad we only have PE on thursday on Odd Weeks. Even Week Thursdays we have to wear the tie with our uniform :( and the tie practically strangles us! I don't know how the hell the prefects survive...

Furthermore, two of our teachers didn't come for class today too! Our English teacher didn't come because she was on course. And our Math teacher didn't come because she was on MC. Anyways, during English, our teacher told us to discuss our English PT with our group. Which is what I did. See, I so guai! We're supposed to write a blog about a cause we're planning to do, e.g. helping the elderly, helping animals, saving the environment. The problem was, my group still hasn't decided which kind of cause to do. And we spent the entire block discussing, while digressing all the while in between :P It was kind of hard to decide because we wanted to do something we're good at. And my group members are really good in the arts which I suck at. I am more sports-inclined which they suck at...We were still undecided when the block ended T.T So we decided to discuss during recess. After more digressions, we decided to do a sort of enrichment program for kids: to help them with the arts or the sports or their studies.

During Math, the relief teacher told us to discuss our Math PT with our groups. We're supposed to do a Mathematics model of something and my group hasn't decided on that. At first, we wanted to do an infectious disease like AIDS (bwahahahah). But most of the other groups were also doing that. So, we were trying to decided to do something else. Like the trend of pop culture. And we went to watch videos on Youtube! Just kidding. We went to see video stats to see if we can form a model from it. We have to submit the proposal tomorrow! T.T And we've yet to decide!

Anyways, I am dragging on about the real issue, which is the title above: The Gold Trophy! Today, we went to Jurong East Sports Complex to receive our award: The Fair Play Award! You don't know how happy we were when we were informed that we received that award! That award is only given to one team from the girls and one team from the boys in our CCA who demonstrated great sportsmanship and committed the least fouls.

The Award Ceremony was  right after the Nationals girl's and boys' Finals games. When we reached the place, the girls game was already over. So, we watched the boys' game while waiting. The boys' game was kind of cool and scary to watch. It was cool because the way the boys played was really good. It was easy to see that that's the reason why they were fighting for 1st position in Nationals. It was scary because of how they defended. Wow, so power! It was times like those that I really love my CCA :)

But anyways, our CCA finally got a Gold trophy! I mean, we always came in 2nd place in zonals, so we always got the silver trophy. But the Fair Play Award trophy was gold! FINALLY! LOL. Actually the colour was goldish-yellow. hurhur. After that, we took some photos with the trophy and dispersed home LOL. And I brought back the trophy because I lived nearest to the sports complex -__-

Awww, shucks. I am seriously not looking forward to tomorrow. We're most likely going to get back our History and Chem papers. And I heard from the others that alot of people either failed it or did really well for it. No average in between! NOOO!!! And I really want to do well for my History paper! *Crosses fingers* Anyways, tomorrow, they're letting us dress up for school! So, maybe choosing something to wear will get my mind out of receiving the papers...

One can only hope...(wow, I sound so wise and sagely ^.^)

LE WORKSHOP

Hey dudes!
Today was another day where I fell asleep in class. Again. Oh god…why do I keep sleeping late even though I know that I will fall asleep in class the next day? Ugh, what’s wrong with me sleeping early? Speaking of which, I have yet to watch the DVD I borrowed from the school library! And I borrowed it on Monday! Seriously, instead of doing rubbish stuff on the Internet, I could have been enjoying a nice movie! I borrowed Journey to the center of the earth <3 the main reason being was that Josh Hutcherson was acting in it…along with Brendan Fraser! Haha, I realised Josh Hutcherson acted in a few of my favourite movies and I didn’t know until I watched him in the Hunger Games this year! He’s so cute! And those muscles! He must seriously work out a lot!

Okay, on to my boring life. So, blah blah blah. Then it was time for Research Studies! Today the Year 4s were presenting their project, so the Year 3s (us) and the Year 2s had to be their audience along with some teacher-evaluator. Obviously, one of the teacher-evaluators is our current project mentor. The first group was from Book Cluster. They presented a book on women redefining men targeted at the 5-6 year-old age group. They even presented their book to the teachers and I managed to get a glimpse of it because I was seated right behind the teachers. The book was big and colourful! And the pictures were so cute! All the pictures in the book were all drawn by one of the group members.

The next group was doing a Philosophy project. Boy, was there project that cheem! They were doing modernity and it roots, specifically on the economic and political aspects. Something about human greed being the driving force behind all the financial crises and human’s innate nature to constantly acquire things. It was all really cheem stuff which I didn’t really understand. So, I shall not try to explain it. I think the teachers also understood just as much as us. LOL. Anyways, after that I had to leave because I signed up for a script-writing workshop.

Basically, the workshop taught us the basic ideas needed to write a play. Like characters (obviously) and a conflict (duh). The instructor said something really interesting too. He said all plays were based on lies and half-truths. Which was quite interesting. Because now that I think about all the plays I watched and read so far, that does kind of seem true. He also said that if a play was all about the truth, it will end in the first few minutes. Interesting, don’t you think? Now I think I know what to write my play about!

Okay, I shall not bore you any further. My sister’s tuition teacher just left, so I shall go watch the DVD I borrowed from school! <3 Wait for me, Josh Hutcherson!

SLEEPY SQUASH

YO WORLD

ugh, I wanted to sleep early yesterday but I still slept late because I was watching a movie on the telly and lost track of the time. So, I woke up to my mother hollering at me -.- oh god, I felt like a freaking zombie. For the first time, I fell asleep in my dad's car and didn't wake up when my dad reached my school! Usually, when I sleep in the car, I'll wake up before we get to school. But today I didn't! That shows how sleep-deprived I seriously am -.- I don't care, today I am sleeping at 10pm!

Anyways, since I came to school feeling like a zombie, I also fell asleep during class. We had Philosophy for the first block and I couldn't sleep because we were having Community of Inquiry and I was the scribe for my friend. I kept falling asleep in Social Studies...which was bad because I was sitting right in the front and the teacher kept passing by my table while he was lecturing. My deskie slapped me a couple of times to wake me up which only helped for a little while before my eyes started drooping again. We had PE after that and the teacher made us run 3 rounds around the track. And I finally woke uppp :)

And today, I also went to support my school's squash team! They had their finals today-1st/2nd placing. I actually did that I escape math. We are learning freaking logarithms now which I understood until we started doing the graphs. Stupid graphs...They are really the bane of my existence.

The game was at Kallang. Until today, I had never watched, or been inside a squash court before. I felt damn claustrophobic when I sat down at the spectators' seats. The courts I always play in are always very open-spaced, even the indoor ones. I also felt a little claustrophobic when I watched the game too. I wonder how the players can stand it...like seriously.

The game was really close. At first, the team won the first two sets. In the third set, the player managed to win the first 2 games. And she could have won the 3rd game to seal her win and the team's win, but she lost!  And the opponent proceeded to thrash her in the next 2 games. Which meant the opponent won 1 set. The next set, I think the player was feeling really nervous or something because the opponent won that set too! So, it was 2-2 for both teams. And it was the last set that determined who won 1st place. My friend was playing in the last set. And she was freaking good! It was really cool seeing her play! And she managed to win that set!! So, the team won and got 1st place for squash! Yeah!!

Sigh...I need to finish my homework now...ugh really...the pile just keeps getting bigger and bigger...

Physics exam + friendly game

heelllloooo world :D

ahahaha. feeling a little high today. Although the day is going to end soon... I had my Physics exam today... It was relatively easy, can you believe it o.O haha. Actually, that's because I understand Physics this year. I hated my Physics teacher last year. She was the worst teacher on earth -.- But this year my Physics teacher is awesome! And I can really understand Physics now! It is even one of my favourite subjects...kinda. But, even if it was easy, I think I screwed it up T.T I think I calculated a wrong number somewhere and I drew a wrong vector diagram!!! Can you believe it?! That question that required us to draw the vector diagram was practically a give-mark question. And I SCREWED IT UP!! 3 marks gone liddat! Haish...never mind, I'll do better for my next Physics exam...wait...I still have Physics PT to do...that's great -.-

Anyways, I only had one paper today! My poor friend had 3 papers today! Physics, Geography and Literature! Makes me happy that I took triple Science and History. My paper ended at 9am...and I was free for the rest of the day! However, I was staying back to watch my juniors' friendly game, which was at 4pm. So, I decided to go to the library. Oh god, it was jam-packed with people revising for their next paper! And I couldn't even get a computer! So, after wandering around the library for a while, I went to the canteen to eat.

Anyways, I wandered around the school talking to random friends and strangers until around 2.30pm. It was then I went to my CCA room (It's actually just a random classroom that we use but whatever). My batchmates were already there. Including my juniors. Chit-chat, chit-chat, blah blah blah. Our coach came, we greeted her, then we went to the courts to set up the tables and chairs for the referees and the players. At around 4pm, the opponent team came and the game started.

Wow, looking at my juniors play...it was like watching my batch play in 'C' div last year. They are a bit like us: they don't communicate with each other on court and sometimes get confused. But us, awesome seniors, were there cheering them on! But, I think some of them played quite well today. Given more practice, they'll be an asset to the team. Good job juniors!

Ahhh, feeling so tired already...didn't get much sleep last night because I was worrying too much about today's paper. So today, I shall make up for that and sleep earlier! Good night :))

Physics tmr

heyy

jst gonna be a super short entry bcos it is really late and i need to sleep bcos i have physics tmr T.T ugh! hope i dun screw up :(
