going MIA~~

hello guys!

I have been MIA for quite a while now. I think my last post was on the 8th? So sorry for that! I had my History and Math exam on the 10th, and loads of other homework to finish. That's why I couldn't find time to update. I feel so badd :( So maybe, today it'll be a super long post to make up for all the lost time. I'll try to update more frequently next time :D

First: School

Has been okay-ish so far. Not as hectic as compared to before the June Holidays. I tell you, how did I ever survive the first semester?! I was either rushing off for competitions/trainings or rushing to complete my homework/assignments/revision. If sec 3 is like this, then I don't wan to know how sec 4 is like .___. At least, I went out with my friends more than I did last year :D Though it was school concerts.

The teachers barely seem to give us much homework now. Mostly, they just go through the lesson material in class, make us do some work in class and that's all. We're expected to revise on our own. Which I am planning to do a month later :D I have just finished the last of my homework and I don't want to start revision so soon. Haish, but I think I need to start revising on my 3 sciences :( Especially Chemistry. We're learning freaking Mole Concept that I barely understand.

(We learn the formula depicted in the picture too, btw)

Just as soon as I write about revision, I start thinking that I need start revising now... Since the beginning of the year, I've been barely taking down any notes on any subjects at all. With the advent of technology ( I sound so cheem!), the teachers just prepare slides and go through them in class, and later, they put it up on the school website. There's hardly any need to take down notes when the slides already summarised everything we are to learn (most of the time).

Alright, so after this post, I am going to plan my revision. And try to get all my revision worksheets in one place....

Second: Dramas <3

One thing that took me so long to complete my homework was that I kept getting distracted by dramas. I remember I did a post on all the dramas I was currently watching.. I kept getting distracted by all those dramas and more -.- I have started to watch more dramas on top on those dramas. Sometimes, I'll abandon a drama if I don't like the storyline. Or after a while, I'll just lose interest in it. The few dramas I have ever completed watch all the episodes are: Playful Kiss, SangKyuKwan Scandal, Tamra the Island and Brilliant Legacy.

I feel sad that I haven't finished watching My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and What's Up! The dramas have the actors that I really like: Lee Seung Ki and Im Joo Hwan respectively :D Both of them are so cute and such versatile actors! Especially Im Joo Hwan. He acted as Kim Bum's brother in Boys Over Flowers before. But I didn't know that until I watched him in DeReMiFaSoLaSiDo and started to take active interest in him and began 'researching' him :) ahhh, Im Joo Hwan.... haha, he was especially cute in What's Up! But he is in NS now.... ;__; Come back soon Im Joo Hwan!

I've also temporarily stopped watching Invincible Youth and Khuntoria so that I could watch the dramas. Maybe I'll resume in the distant future... Ahh, why does my k-drama addiction have to start now?! Why can't it spring up after end-year papers??!! Now, the dramas are going to distract me from studying TT.TT

Third: Life in General

Alright, so, there's nothing much going on now. The teachers are giving lesser homework. But we still have big projects to do for Social Studies and Biology. I think I need to start on those two soon enough :( The Chemistry AA is going to be given out soon too. And I have Physics SPA next week. ughh.... I hope I pass the SPA. My teacher said it was quite easy to score....

Ramadhan started last Saturday. And I have been fasting since then. It is no joke to fast. I am seriously feeling really hungry right now TT.TT I am hoping that I'll lose weight from all these fasting leh. 14 hours without food everyday for one month! It better lose me some weight.... It is also because of this fasting that I don't feel like studying at all....I prefer to study at night, when I can break my fast. It is never good to study on an empty stomach. No matter how much self-control you think you have. After a while, the hunger will just win T.T

So, I shall watch my dramas until after 7.20pm <3

The Weekend Before Exams

Hello humans :D

Too busy revising to update. I am taking a break now from revision, so I thought I might update a little before going back to revision.

This week, I seriously had the awesomest weekend ever! For one thing, I went out for three days in a row!!! Quite an accomplishment for a social recluse like me :)

On Friday, I went for the concert put up by the International Dance CCA of my school. I know quite a few people from that CCA, so I decided to go for it. I was quite lucky too! The tickets for the Friday concert were sold out in 3 days!

The concert was awesome. Okay, so that word is quite overused by me but it was seriously very good. The dancers had such strong and elegant movements. I especially liked the Chinese Dance they put up and the finale dance :) It is no wonder that they received Gold with Honours for SYF last year :D

On Saturday, I went for another of my school's concert. My school's English Drama Production! They were doing an original play written by them. It was hilarious, witty and meaningful at all the right moments. And the characters were played out quite well too :)

The best thing about the play was that I went with my best friend from primary school. She goes to a different school, so we rarely see each other. But we SMS often :) I invited her because I haven't seen her in a long time and I also needed to pass her the souvenirs I got for her in Europe :)) Ahh, I miss her so much :(

Annnnddd today I went to watch a movie!!! THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH. Zomg zomg zomg. Andrew Garfield is so cute!!!

I watched all three of the previous Spiderman movies and this movie basically goes along the same storyline. Except for the fact that the girl's name is Gwen instead of Mary-Jane.

I felt that the movie was much more action-packed. Maybe because I am biased towards Andrew Garfield :P He is seriously very very cute AND HOT. OH GOD THOSE ABS. I am definitely going to watch all the other movies he'll come out in :)

So that was my fantastic weekend. Sorry, I have to end really shortly because I need to go back to revising. Ahh, Andrew Garfield...

The Joys of Being A Youth

Hello guys

Today is Youth Day! So, I did what youths are expected to do: study -.- Haish, I know I am supposed to be all YOLO and do lots of outdoorsy things but I really have too much homework to consider doing anything besides that :(

Like really, the school barely opened and I am already buried deep in work. I think that comes along with being sec 3. Everyone was excited and all for finally going to sec 3 but everyone forgot about the heavier workload that comes attached.

Anyways, this morning I woke up early to go to my friend's house to do our math project. Yes, another math project. Can you freaking believe it?!

And the project was only worth 4% -.- We had to do a short video or presentation summarizing one of the topics we learnt on school.

In the first place, we had to decide which topic we would like to do. We jumped from topic to topic until we finally decided on Remainder and Factor Theorem because it had the least formulas :)

So, next. We had to decide how we are going to film it. At first we wanted to use animation. Then, I suggested doing a short skit instead because animation is actually quite tedious ( I did it before, it killed me).

We planned the 'storyboard' and 'script' quite fast. As we were going to do voiceover. It was the filming that got a bit...haywire.

Actually, we managed to finish filming in 2 hours. But that was after many videos of us screwing up and laughing too much. These kinds of things always epically failed in the beginning :) 2 hour filming for a 2 minute video -.-

After that, we had lunch. Since we had already completed the filming, we were lazing around watching tv. Planning to do the editing later. But I had to leave by 1pm because I needed to complete my other homework :(

Alright, so my Youth Day wasn't exactly wasted because I went out to my friend's house :P And it was all the way over Serangoon too! My friend's house was humungous too. She lived in landed property for goodness sake -.-

Haish, going back to study again :( I need to revise for my History and Math exams that are coming up...

I want to watch tv so bad T.T

Computer and Dramas :D

Hey guys!

I finally got back the computer!!! Actually, I only have a bit over 2 hours to use this. My dad still has yet to buy a new charger. He keeps saying that the shop is always close whenever he goes there. How can it be close for so long?! It's more likely that he was too lazy to go buy a new one. I had to borrow my cousin's charger today to charge the laptop. He just took back the charger, so now, I am left with two hours to use the laptop T.T

Anyways, I borrowed my cousin's charger early on today. So, while waiting for the laptop to finish charging to 100%, I was watching dramas!! Hey, when you have a laptop, watching dramas is a must! I haven't been watching any Korean dramas since the year started because I have been quite busy with school, training etc. Now, I have a bit more free time to watch dramas!

Actually, when the laptop was down, I used my mum's iPhone to watch my dramas. But not all the drama websites are supported on Safari, so my dramas were quite limited :( Haha, most of the time I was watching We Got Married anyway. And I was watching Khuntoria!!! ZOMG!!! THAT COUPLE IS TOO CUTE FOR WORDS!!

Don't they look adorable? The girl is Victoria from F(x) and the boy is Nickhun from 2PM. They are seriously a match made in heaven! I just love watching the two of them. They have alot of cute and funny moments. Especially Nickhun :) He just seem to be so awkward around Victoria~~ :D I am on episode 20 now. Khuntoria has 64 episodes but I don't want to rush too fast. So I am not going to watch episode 21 yet. Need to keep the good things for the last :)

I have also been watching a few dramas since this morning. Actually, I don't know what dramas to watch, so I only watch the first episode of all the dramas that I have picked. If I like the first episode, I'll continue watching it :D

The first drama I watched was Big. Seemed interesting enough because it was a soul-switching bodies drama. But the female lead seems like the typical naive, slightly brainless girl that many Koreans dramas have. And those kind of girls annoy me sometimes. But Suzy is in it, so I might continue to watch it :)

The only thing I don't like about this drama is that Jang Hee Jin is playing the role of an antagonist again. She has such a nice-looking face. Why is she the antagonist again?! Ahhh, she also played the antagonist in What's Up! I really really like her smile. She should get a role as the good girl for once!

The next few dramas they I watched had a bit of historical drama in it. The dramas I watched were about someone from the Joseon Dynasty being transported into the modern world. Or a man in present-day being transported to the Joseon Dynasty. The first transporting-through-time drama I watched was Queen In-Hyun's Man.

It was really interesting. Because I have watched it until episode 5! I'll continue to watch it later though. Right now, I am just seeing which dramas I like to watch later when I am even more free :) The next time transport drama I watched was Rooftop Prince.

One reason I watched this drama was because Micky Yoochun is in it. He was in Sangkyukwan Scandal as well and his acting was kind of good. Lee Tae Sung is in Rooftop Prince too! I thought he was going to play a comical character but he is the antagonist here :( I really liked him in Playful Kiss where he played a very ridiculous and comical character :D

The last time-transport drama I watched was Time Slip Dr. Jin. In fact, I am going to watch episode 2 as soon as I finish this post :) The drama is the other way round. For the previous two dramas, a guy from the Joseon Dynasty was transported into the present-day. In this drama, a neurosurgeon from present-day was transported to the Joseon Dynasty.

Another reason I watched this drama was because Park Min Young and Kim Jaejoong is in it! They were in Sangkyukwan Scandal and Protect the Boss respectively. I also like the two of them :))

Okay, time to go back to my dramas :D Byee~~
